FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my images stored on your servers?

No. All image processing uses the browser's Canvas API. Images never leave your device — we cannot see or store them.

How much can I compress without losing quality?

Typically 50–70% with the Recommended preset and negligible quality loss. PNG is lossless. JPEG quality is adjustable from light to extreme.

What formats are supported?

Input: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF. Output: JPEG, PNG, WebP depending on the tool. All conversions happen instantly in the browser.

Can I resize without losing quality?

Modest downsizing maintains quality well. Significant upscaling will show some quality loss — that's a fundamental limitation of pixel-based images.

Can I process multiple images at once?

Yes. Image Compressor accepts multiple images and lets you download all results as a ZIP file in one click.

Does HTML to Image work on any URL?

It works on HTML code or self-contained pages. External URLs may be blocked by browser CORS restrictions — best for pasting raw HTML directly.
