1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Usage Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymised data such as pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting or a Google Analytics opt-out extension.

Account Data (Optional)

If you choose to create an account using Google Sign-In (required only for the dynamic QR code feature), we store your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google. This data is used solely to associate your QR codes with your account.

QR Code Data

If you create a dynamic (trackable) QR code, we store the destination URL, QR code settings, and anonymised scan analytics (timestamp, approximate country). We do not store the personal details of people who scan your QR code.

2. Your Files Stay on Your Device

All PDF processing, image conversion, and text analysis tools run entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We have no access to the documents or images you process with these tools.

The only exception is PDF-to-Word conversion and Word-to-PDF conversion, which require server-side processing. Files sent for these conversions are processed immediately and deleted — they are never stored permanently.

3. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Session cookies — Required for authenticated features (dynamic QR codes). Deleted when you close your browser.
• Google Analytics cookies — Anonymous usage tracking (_ga, _gid). Expires after 2 years / 24 hours respectively.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the dynamic QR code feature.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS. Account data is stored in a secured database. We apply standard security headers (X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy) to protect against common web vulnerabilities. If you discover a security issue, please contact us at support@ultimatetools.io.

6. Your Rights

If you have an account, you can:

• Access the data we hold about you by contacting us
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your QR code data from the dashboard

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
